FLOATFARM was proud to be represented at WindEurope 2025 in Copenhagen (8-10 April), one of the leading events for the wind energy sector in Europe. The event provided an excellent platform to showcase our work and strengthen connections within the floating wind community.

The project was well represented by key contributors from our consortium, including Alessandro Bianchini (Università degli Studi di Firenze and European Academy of Wind Energy) and Joseph Saverin, FLOATFARM coordinator (Technische Universität Berlin), who actively presented FLOATFARM’s objectives and ongoing work. Their participation underscored the dynamic collaboration between research institutions and industrial players that defines the project.

We were also pleased to have Magali Mouriès from BW Ideol at the event, a former partner of the FLOATECH project and now an associated partner of FLOATFARM. Her presence reinforced the strong continuity and collaboration across European floating wind initiatives.

FLOATFARM was featured during the official project pitch session on Tuesday, where the project’s goals, technical developments, and vision were presented to a broad audience of stakeholders. The session sparked valuable discussions and interest from across the sector.

In addition, FLOATFARM was invited to participate in the side event organised by our sister project, In4inity. This joint appearance reflected our shared commitment to innovation and knowledge exchange within the floating wind ecosystem. The event drew a highly engaged audience and opened the door for new opportunities and connections.

The visibility and engagement FLOATFARM received at WindEurope 2025 marks an exciting step forward in our mission to accelerate innovation in floating wind technology.
