Dr.-Ing. Joseph Saverin
He is the coordinator of the FLOATFARM project and an active researcher in the fields of floating offshore wind aerodynamics, hydrodynamics and numerical modelling and the team leader of the numerical wind energy group at the Institute for Fluid Mechanics and Technical Acoustics.
Robert Behrens de Luna
He is PhD candidate at the Institute for Fluid Mechanics and Technical Acoustics at the Technische Universität Berlin and is active in the fields of dynamics, multidisciplinary analysis and optimisation of floating offshore wind turbines.
Navid Nayeri
He is the team leader of the Aerodynamics Group of the Institute for Fluid Mechanics and Technical Acoustics and has successfully coordinated a number of national and European research projects focused on wind energy technology.

Alessandro Bianchini
He is an Associate Professor at the University of Florence. He is an expert in wind turbine aerodynamics. He is the leader of WP1 and will also be involved WP7 and in all the dissemination and communication activities.
Francesco Papi
He is a post-doctoral researcher in the field of wind energy at the University of Florence. His research focuses on wind turbine simulation, design, and optimization. He will guide the technical activities in task 1.1 and 7.2.
Francesco Balduzzi
He is an Assistant Professor at the University of Florence. He is an active senior researcher in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics. He will contribute to the aerodynamic modelling activities in WP1.
Giovanni Ferrara
He is a Full Professor in Fluid Machinery at the University of Florence. He will provide expert guidance for all the technical activities of the institution and participate in the communication and dissemination activities.

Sylvain Delacroix
He is a research engineer at ECole Centrale Nantes and project manager at the LHEEA hydrodynamic facilities. He will be in charge of the test campaigns of WP2 and WP4.
Vincent Leroy
He is an assistant professor at Ecole Centrale nantes. His research focuses on coupled analysis of floating wind turbine. He will be involved in the preparation and the analysis of the experimental works.

Jan-Willem van Wingerden
He is a full Professor at the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. He is passionate about wind farm and wind turbine control. He is the leader of WP3 and will also be involved in WP1 and in all the dissemination and communication activities.

David Marten
He has 13 years experience in wind energy research, on main topics: aerodynamics, structural dynamics, hydrodynamics, load control, computational modelling, numerical optimization. He started developing QBlade in 2010.
Ghent University
Dr. Kris Hectors
He is post-doctoral researcher at Ghent University. He specializes in numerical modeling of fatigue in large scale structures. He wil guide the UGent activities in tasks 2.1 and 2.5.
Wim De Waele
He is a full professor at Ghent University. His research interests include experimental and computational fracture mechanics and fatigue, weld integrity and combined degradation mechanisms. He will supervise the UGent activities.
Songhan Zhang
He is a post-doctoral researcher at Ghent University. He will be the primary UGent researcher working on tasks 2.1 and 2.5.
DTU - Technical University of Denmark
Dr. Fanzhong Meng
He is a Senior Researcher at DTU Wind. His reseacher interests are floating wind turbine aero-hydro-servo-elasticty and control. He will lead WP4 and be part of steering committee of the project.
Fabio Pierella
He is an Assistant Professor in Offshore Wind Energy at DTU Wind. He is expert in load and response modeling of offshore wind turbines, with special focus on avanced wave load modeling. He will work in remodeling of experiments in WP2 and with integrating HAWC2 in the optimization framework in WP7.
Ang Li
He is a researcher in DTU Wind, aerodynamic design (ARD) section. His research focus on engineering aerodynamic modelling of wind turbines. He participates in WP3 on the validation and improvements of the DTU in-house vortex code MIRAS.
Saipem SA

She is a hydrodynamics lead engineer at SAIPEM and participate to the development of floating offshore wind since 2018.
Benjamin Mauries
(Saipem SA, Paris)
He has been working for Saipem since 2003. He has led and coordinated technology development projects and their application in the fields of LNG (FLNG, storage, transfer systems), subsea solutions and, since 2018, offshore renewables technologies. Since 2021, he is the Floating Wind Product Manager in Saipem’s Offshore Wind business line.

Steffen Raach
He is an open-minded person with a special expertise in control engineering, renewable energies and leadership. In his role as Managing Director he develops the global strategy of sowento and is involved in the planning and execution of consultancy projects with different stakeholders of the wind industry.
Mees Al
He is Head of Control at sowento. He is passionate about developing control strategies specifically for floating wind turbines. As a technical consultant, he supports clients in researching and developing new and innovative control strategies for their wind energy systems. In the FLAOTFARM project, he will lead Task 1.3, which involves conducting experiments for innovative control concepts.

He is a Co-Founder at Next Ocean. Peter previously worked at MARIN as a Data analist. He attended Technische Universiteit Delft and Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.

Domenico P. Coiro
He is full professor at the university of Naples Federico II. He has a long experience in developing renewable energy systems for wind and ocean. He will supervise the activities of Seapower in the development of the Floatfarm project.
Nadia Bizzarrini
She is a project manager. She has worked on several projects in renewable energies from wind and marine sources. She will support Seapower participation in the FLOATFARM project with respect to the administrative and management aspects.
Giancarlo Troise
He is a design engineer at Seapower scrl. He has been involved in the design and analysis of renewable energy systems with particular focus on structural preliminary design and cost analysis. He will be involved in WP6, where Seapower is WP leader.
Adolfo Grieco
He is an energy mechanical engineer. He will provide support in the preliminary structural analysis for cost estimations.
INNOSEA France
Jean-Christope Guilloteaux
He is head of R&D at OWC France, his technical background is in hydrodynamics with several years of experience in MREs. He will supervise INNOSEA's activities and be part of the steering committee of the FLOATFARM project.
Florian Castillo
He is a hydrodynamic and mooring engineer, specialized in marines’ renewables. He will act as a co-project manager for INNOSEA and will be mainly involved in shared mooring studies (WP4).
Caroline Valenchon
She is an engineer in the field of FOWT regarding dynamic cables but also floater and mooring design, she will be part of the task performing the optimisation of the dynamic cable.
Maxime Chemineau
He is marine renewables engineer with a background of naval architecture, specialising in offshore hydrodynamics and numerical modelling of FOWTs. He will be mainly involved in shared mooring studies (WP4).

Claudio Lugni
He is Research Director at CNR-INM and Italian delegate of the IWG Wind Energy within the EU-SET Plan. His expertise is on numerical and experimental nonlinear hydrodynamics and violent wave-structure interactions. He will coordinate the WP2 and the CNR-INM scientific activity.
Chiara Pilloton
She is researcher at CNR-INM. She is actively involved in marine renewable energy projects of the CNR-INM. Within FLOATFARM she will work on the design, construction and installation of the FOWT and she will be in charge of the monitoring of the FOWT prototype @MaRELab (WP2).

Guilherme Vaz
He is an Aerospace Engineer with a PhD in Mechanical/Naval Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico (Portugal) and at Maritime Research Institute of Netherlands. Founder, developer, and evangelist of open-usage multiphase CFD code ReFRESCO. 22 years of experience (Portugal, the Netherlands and Germany) on CFD, hydrodynamics and aerodynamic modelling of maritime, ocean engineering and renewable energy structures. Here he will be the scientific coordinator of all blueOASIS' tasks in the project.
Erica Cruz
She is a marine ecologist with background on underwater noise monitoring and environmental impact assessment of offshore wind projects on marine life. In the past she was leading underwater noise monitoring programs for iconic projects such as WindFloat Atlantic and participating in the development of HydroTWIN technology. In FLOATFARM she will bring her experience into WP5, supporting the coupling of underwater noise models and ecological models.
Tiago Gomes
He is an Aerospace Engineer with a MSc degree from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, Portugal. As a CFD specialist, keen on numerical modelling, he will simulate the different components of a Floating Offshore Wind Turbine in terms of acoustic emissions using high-fidelity approaches, to produce engineering models capable of estimating the equivalent noise source of such a system. In turn, this data will be used as input to RAINDROP, blueOASIS' underwater noise map generation tool, developed by Tiago, to assess the noise propagation in the region and consequent impact in the local fauna, by coupling it with trophic models.
Leonor Alves
She is a sociologist with a degree from the FCSH in Lisbon, Portugal. she is responsible for several organizational issues, dissemination, and communication tasks. Organization, accuracy, speed and teamwork are the key points to her daily life.

Vincent FAURE
He is researcher and engineer in environmental marine science with a multi-disciplinary profile, and studies the environmental impacts of offshore wind technologies using an ecosystemic approach methodology. Within FLOATFARM, he will lead the WP5.
Emma Araignous
She is a researcher in marine ecology, specialized in ecosystem modelling. She studies the impacts of the cumulative effect of anthropogenic activities and climate change on ecosystem structure and functioning.
Georges SAFI
He is a researcher in marine ecology, leading the Ecosystem Approach research Unit at FEM. The main purpose of the research Unit is to develop operational tools for the ORE sector to assess cumulative impacts on the socio-ecosystem where these infrastuctures will be integrated. Expertise in social, economical and environmental domains are gathered to co-construct an ecosystem approach of ORE integration in marine ecosystems.
Rhoda FOFACK-GARCIA
She is a researcher in environmental sociology applied to offshore renewable energies. She studies social and political integration of ORE technologies in France and Europe, focusing on decision-making processes in marine local governance, and evolutions of social perceptions of ORE impacts on landscapes, tourism and fisheries.
Marie LE MARCHAND
She is a researcher in marine ecology, mainly in the North Atlantic area. Her area of expertise is trophic modelling of the effects of climate change, fishing and changes in habitats due to the installation of MREs.
Hagnesia Wind
Dr. Liselotte Ulvgård
She is the CEO of Hagnesia Wind AB and has a multi-diciplinary profile in renewable power technologies. She has an academic background in engineering science, specializing in wave power engineering, and has also worked in industry with compliance and certification for renewable power technologies.
Dr. Anders Hagnestål
He is the founder of Hagnesia AB and inventor of the novel generator technology. With a PhD in fusion power and several years of research in direct drive generators, he has deep expertice in electromagnetism and electric machine design.
BW IDEOL
Magali Mouriès
She has been serving as Deputy CTO at BW Ideol since the end of 2021. With over 20 years of experience in the marine environment, she has devoted her career to combating marine pollution and has worked on various issues related to accidental marine pollution and resulting damages.
Riccardo Mariani
He is a mechanical engineer specializing in hydrodynamics and structural dynamics with a PhD in Applied Mechanics. Riccardo worked for the Italian National Institute of Research on Naval Architecture and Offshore Hydrodynamics (INSEAN-CNR). He then transitioned to the offshore industry, joining Technip France in Paris. In 2015, Riccardo joined BW Ideol as Manager of the Hydrodynamic and Naval Architecture Department.

Ines Martorell
She is Consultant in EU fundings at Euronovia. She has approximately 6 years of experience in coordinating and managing EU collaborative projects (research and Innovation Actions) in various fields (energy, environment, urban planning, SSH...). Within FLOATFARM she is WP8 leader of communication and dissemination activities.
Emmanuelle Moreau
She is a Consultant in EU fundings at Euronovia. With 1 year of experience in project development, she works on EU projects now. She will be supporting the WP8 on the communication and dissemination activities.
