The first months of FLOATFARM were very busy!

After an online kick-off meeting which took place on 25 January, the team worked on the project’s brand to planning of organisational tasks and preparations for next meetings and events during the Spring season, FLOATFARM has had a productive few month.

FLOATFARM logo

The FLOATFARM logo represents the graphic identity of the project. The pictograph of the logo is a stylistic representation of 3 floating wind turbines in the front plan, suggesting the scale-up dimension of the FLOATFARM project and its ambition to strengthen the ‘floating offshore wind farms’ concept. The choice was made to add birds in the top left side of the logo to accentuate on the environmental preoccupation of the FLOATFARM project.

Website and social media

FLOATFARM’s social media accounts are all up and running and the project’s Twitter and LinkedIn accounts are expected to grow exponentially.

The FLOATFARM website was launched too, featuring the distinct visual identity of the project. The website serves as the main source of information about the project’s aims, work plan, current progress, and ways to get involved. All relevant files such as publications and deliverables will be uploaded to the website.

What is coming next?

Some exciting news are coming for the next months!

• In April, some of the FLOATFARM’s partners (such as France Energies Marine, BW Ideol, Innosea) will be attending the FOWT 2024 event in Marseille, France.
• In May, most of the partners will be present at the TORQUE 2024 event in Florence, Italy.
• Right after the TORQUE, the first in person consortium meeting will be held, also in Florence!
